ASI’s second annual Bird Trivia Night was held on October 26 at Birch Hill Recreation Area. Thank you so much to all of the lively competitors and donors to our silent auction. The event was so much fun and raised essential funds for ASI’s core programs. Read on below for information on this year’s event.

Doors open at 6:00 for complementary pizza, drinks, and snacks. Trivia starts promptly at 7:00. You do not need to participate in trivia to attend! Food, beverages, and the silent auction are open to all attendees throughout the evening, and there will be fun ways for the audience to interact and participate.
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the raffles and costume contest! (Bird-themed costumes are encouraged, but all costumes are welcome!) There will be voting and prizes for best overall costume, most realistic bird costume, and funniest bird costume. This event is all about getting together, having fun, and learning more about our feathered friends.
Purchase your tickets ahead of time online for expedited entry. Tickets will also be available at the door. All proceeds support ASI’s research and education programs at Creamer’s Field.
SCHEDULE:
6 PM Doors open for registration, drinks, & snacks. Peruse the silent auction.
7 PM Round one of trivia begins!
8 PM Silent and dessert auctions close. (Enjoy your treats!) Voting for costume contests and best team name closes. Round two of trivia begins!
9 PM Winners announced and prizes distributed for trivia, membership drawing, and costume/name contests. Raffle winner pulled for hand-crafted snow bunting coffee table. Final check out for silent auction items.
TO REGISTER A TEAM ($60/team, max 3 people)
Teams are limited to THREE people. Registration is $60/team. This includes admission for all three team members. Pay this fee yourselves, or find a sponsor! Sponsors will be recognized at the event and in follow up publicity.
Once you have gathered your teammates, choose a name, and pick your level. There are two levels. Both levels will compete simultaneously but with a different set of questions.
Bird Nerd (for beginning and intermediate birdwatchers and those interested in learning more)
Super Nerd (for advanced to extreme birders)
When you are ready to register, follow the link below. Be sure to provide names and emails for all three team members. Space is limited, so we recommend registering early! Team registration will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, October 25, or when all spots are filled.
