Rules & Regulations: Online purchase of raffle tickets for the Alaska Songbird Institute Tile & Forged Metal Loon Coat Rack Raffle is available only to residents of Alaska. Non-Alaskan residents can purchase raffle tickets in person at ASI events until Friday, November 1, 2024 and at our Creamer’s Field Migration Station during the fall migration season (Aug-Sept). They will also be for sale at a variety of other events around Fairbanks.
By purchasing a ticket online you certify that you are of legal purchasing age and that you are not physically present in an area of Alaska that prohibits charitable gaming. There is currently no minimum purchasing age for raffle tickets in Alaska, and there are no areas in Alaska that prohibit charitable gaming.
ASI Board Members and Staff are not responsible for lost tickets either through USPS Mail fulfillment or in person.
The prize is a one of a kind, locally handcrafted coat rack featuring a custom made ceramic tile depicting an adult and juvenile Common Loon created by Nancy Hausle-Johnson of Alaska Tile Art. The coat rack is forged metal with a reclaimed wood top, created by master metal worker Thomas Hart of Iron Amenities. It measures approximately 26.5″ x 12″. Estimated value: $400
The coat rack is available for local pick up in Fairbanks, Alaska. The winner is responsible for all packaging, shipping, and delivery fees.
The drawing will take place on Friday, November 1 during ASI’s annual Raven Art Show. An unlimited number of tickets will be sold until that date. Winner need not be present to win.
