Have breakfast with the birds in the boreal forest at Creamer’s Field. $10/person; kids under 5 are free.
Enjoy homemade treats, coffee, and juice in the boreal forest as you listen to birds and learn about one of the longest running songbird research projects in Alaska. Join our biologists and volunteers as we check mist nets. Observe migratory songbirds up close, learn about volunteer and membership opportunities, and you may even get to release a banded bird!
This is a family friendly event. Tickets are $10/per person (kids under 5 are free). Proceeds support the project. Guided walks will leave the Creamer’s Farmhouse every half hour beginning at 9 AM. (The last walk leaves at 10:30 AM.) RSVP is strongly recommended, as each walk can only accommodate 10 people.
When RSVP please be sure to leave your name, number of people attending, and your preferred start time: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, or 10:30. Please also include your email for important weather and programs updates. Please call ASI at (907) 888-2121 for more information.
