Join ASI for a guided Christmas Bird Count especially for kids and families at Creamer’s Field. We will start by learning some common species to look for. Then we’ll practice using binoculars (some are available to borrow), and head out on our count! We will try to count for most of the daylight hours, depending on weather. Hot cocoa and snacks will be provided.
Please dress warmly and be prepared to be outside! All ages are welcome, but kids under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. More detail will be provided when you register. Please register by Dec 28 by emailing Tricia.Blake@aksongbird.org or calling ASI at 888-2121.

2017 is the 57th annual Fairbanks Christmas Bird Count! It is coordinated by the Arctic Audubon Society and is part of the Annual Christmas Bird Count, a winter tradition organized by National Audubon Society throughout North America. Follow the links to find out how to participate and to contact the coordinator for your area.
