ASI eBird workshop
April 30 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
eBird is a global online database and citizen science project created by the wonderful folks at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. With over 1 billion observations and hundreds of thousands of users, it has grown to become an incredible resource for ornithologists, especially in Alaska where roadside surveys are limited. Join ASI staff and volunteers to learn more about eBird, and how you can help Alaskan researchers fill holes in our understanding of Alaska’s birds. We will have a short classroom session in the Creamer’s Field Farmhouse, followed by an active birding session on the refuge where we can log our sightings together.
