Songbird Banding and Education Internship (2 positions; July 30 – September 29)*
We are seeking two interns to assist with research and education efforts at the long-running Creamer’s Field Migration Station—North America’s northernmost songbird banding station. Interns will contribute to and develop skills in mist-netting operations, songbird handling and banding, K-12 field education programs, and public outreach during the fall migration season. *Start and end dates may be somewhat flexible.

Science Communication & Marketing Intern (April 1 – Sep 30, 2026*)–position filled!
This position is an integral part of a team including biologists, educators, students, and volunteers working together to conserve Alaska’s boreal songbirds. The goal of this position is to develop innovative and creative ways to share ASI’s work effectively with a broad and diverse audience. This includes facilitating public programs and special events, leading tours to ASI field projects, preparing social media posts, web and email updates, and generating new direct marketing strategies. *Start and end dates may be somewhat flexible.
