Cole Sartore began assisting his dad, Joel, with the Photo Ark when it launched in 2006. He has served as a producer, editor, and overall photo assistant for the Photo Ark, traveling from their hometown zoo in Lincoln, Nebraska to locations in Asia, Australia, South America, Africa, and Europe.
The Photo Ark is a multiyear effort through the National Geographic Society to create intimate portraits of an estimated 12,000 species of birds, fish, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates from around the globe.
Join Cole for a free presentation at Murie Auditorium on the UAF campus. This is part of the 18th Alaska Bird Conference.
